Silver & Gold ATC

I created a new ATC this afternoon for another swap. This swap was a bit of a treasure hunt and you had to choose 4 from a list of items to make the card.
I chose something red, textured paper, rubber-stamped image and something silver.

Vintage Pastel Button Fairy

I made this cute little button fairy for a swap. I'd never made one before, so I had to do a search to see just what they were! Very easy to make with a little jewelry wire, some vintage buttons (I used shell buttons) some wings and a face. It was fun to make and I will definitely make more of these in the future!

I'm Baroque Postcard

I made this postcard for a swap. The theme was junk mail. I used an image from a catalog and a couple of advertising postcards. The letters were also cut out of the catalog. It was fun!

Rainbow ATC

I haven't made anything to post here in a while. But, I made a cute ATC for the Rise challenge at the We-R-Soto forum, so here it is!
It's based on a song from the Disney film, Chimpanzee. So, I found a cute little pic of Oscar to use, too.

Plastic Canvas Kite Magnet

This piece was a little tough to do, as it is so small and I'd never done any shapes like this one. I'm not really happy with the edges, but it will do. I backed it with a solid material and then a round magnet. It will look cute on a fridge.

Plastic Canvas Bacon Bookmark

This was a very simple craft to get back into plastic canvas. At first I was just doing some easy stripes and then my mind took a weird turn toward bacon! Haha! It's the coloring that got me there ... It would make a fun bookmark for a cookbook!
I backed it with a solid fabric with hot glue.

Brownie ATC

I made this ATC for a swap that had to include a camera image. So, I took a picture of one of my old Brownie cameras. Then, I did a search to find the history of my model. It was a 'No. 2' model made between 1929 - 1931. You can tell by the color of the case (dark brown - although it looks black in the image) and that it has a wind-up key. My grandfather bought it new, probably in 1929. I also found an ad with a similar model. I put both images together in PSP, then printed it out.
I really like how this one turned out. I love working with vintage images and items.
