Plastic Canvas Bacon Bookmark

This was a very simple craft to get back into plastic canvas. At first I was just doing some easy stripes and then my mind took a weird turn toward bacon! Haha! It's the coloring that got me there ... It would make a fun bookmark for a cookbook!
I backed it with a solid fabric with hot glue.

Brownie ATC

I made this ATC for a swap that had to include a camera image. So, I took a picture of one of my old Brownie cameras. Then, I did a search to find the history of my model. It was a 'No. 2' model made between 1929 - 1931. You can tell by the color of the case (dark brown - although it looks black in the image) and that it has a wind-up key. My grandfather bought it new, probably in 1929. I also found an ad with a similar model. I put both images together in PSP, then printed it out.

I really like how this one turned out. I love working with vintage images and items.

I made this set for a swap last week. Sort of a collage. Two of them have a suede-like paper as the background.

Happy Spring Postcard

I made a set of four of these postcards this morning. Just with rubber stamps and different colored inks. Mailed three of them out today. Fun and quick. I need to do more stamping. I've got tons of rubber stamps. I just need more ink and some embossing powders, etc.

Mail Art Postcard

This postcard is for another swap. I love doing those because they kind of challenge me and give me ideas on other things to make! This one is going to Washington.

I think I need to get one of those cheap little battery-run fans from the dollar store to help me get the glue to dry more quickly! The glitter glue took quite a while to dry!
